Hi! I'm Danielle!
Thank you so much for being here!
Getting the opportunity to capture your family means the absolute world to me.
A little bit about me - I am born and raised in Long Island. I went to college for accounting and have been working as a CPA for the last 18 years. While it’s a great career, I always felt that something was missing and never truly felt fulfilled. When I became a mom, I developed a big habit of booking every possible mini session my favorite photographer had to to offer. When my second came along, I realized that I was going to have to mortgage my home if I kept it up. I picked up my starter camera that my husband had bought me years ago, dusted it off and got to learning how to use it beyond AUTO mode. I took both in person and online classes and most importantly learned hands on by doing countless free photoshoots. I am so thankful to those first clients who let me experiment with their families and helped me to learn the skills I would need in order to actually give this business a go!
Fast forward to today, five years later – I have filled my cup in a way I never thought possible. It has been the most challenging yet rewarding things I have ever done. It has been a joy to get to know so many amazing families. Putting myself out there and pushing through some uncomfortable feelings has helped me grow not only as a person but as a parent.
My goal with every session is for you to leave feeling relaxed and that you just spent an afternoon with an old friend. I focus on connecting with your child to bring out genuine smiles and candid moments. I can often be found smiling ear to ear while I edit your albums listening to Taylor Swift (TV, obvi) and drinking a Coke Zero on the rocks.
When I am not working, I am living that crazy mom life with my two kiddos. They bring me so much joy and know just how to keep me on my toes. I am also a proud dog mama to two Boston Terriers; Pickles and Holly who make my life infinitely better.
I would love to chat about how I can best document your family - let's catch a sunset together and capture your good old days.
xo,
Danielle
